This solo is a great piece of music in my opinion, and I want to dedicate it to my Mother, since she dedicated all her life to me and to my sister, she was similar to Pink’s Mother in some way 🙂 … but finally she helps me also to break down The Walls, thanks you Mum, I will never forget…
I made two versions here: the STUDIO from The Wall Album and the LIVE from “Is There Anybody Out There?”. Both of these solos are so expressive that I like them very much.

Hi, can I get the backing track
I speak from the 13 bar
this tablature in the extended part doesn’t match what you play, it’s kind of confusing …
Congratulations, very nice playing! Which string gauge do you use? 0.09?
I use 9,5-44, they are my perfect match in the meedle of 9 and 10
Thank you for sharing the tabs, I was looking for them a while ago.
By the way, congratulations , the sound of your music is very fine. I am using the ZOOM G92tt, it has the Big Muff preset sound.
Congratulations and thank you again.
I owned a ZOOM pedalboard in the past and I was very happy with it, with a very good quality/price ratio! Thanks!
Hi, thanks for going through the trouble of sharing your efforts with us all, it’s a great tone! Your playing sounds just like Guilmour too, and feeling you on dedicating this to your mother I’m working towards nailing this solo too for a similar purpose. Any advice on what type of flanger and chorus delay and the basic gain bass mid high eq parameters would be great, I’m using a marshall code 50 amp and I could my Boss OD-200 pedal use the fuzz preset which is meant to be modelled on the electro harmonix big muff which if i can get right
would be perfect as in the code amp- fx setting in the pedal setting compressor it has that, chorus and flanger are in the same section so its either or which- not sure which one would be more effective, im thinking flanger and then tweak chorus on the daw (audacity) also i could maybe apply (if i knew the right parameters) the post stack preset in either parallel or series on my Boss OD-200 pedal which I’m still getting my head around, intermediate knowledge, the boost function allows this to be possible its quite a pedal for the price range very much malleable I’m just new to the “making a patch sound perfect” area of expertise, I would appreciate very much your advice on achieving the same tone or near enough, there are some guilmour lead tones available on marshall gateway site but nothing yet for “Mother” perhaps Guilmour has a tendency to stick close to an approximate sort of standard approach for many of his songs that can be learned and applied as a basic starting framework to be used to tweak one way or the other on all parameters for much of pink Floyd’s songs?
